Yesterday one of my roommates Zak made this snack, and I loved it so much that I wanted to share this with all of you. Also, it goes well with the recipe I’m posting tomorrow, Steak with a balsamic bacon sauce. Enjoy!
Mozzarella with Tomato and Balsamic
- Fresh Mozzarella
- Fresh tomato (organic if possible)
- Fresh Basil
- Balsamic Vinegar
- Salt and pepper
- Slice the mozzarella and tomatoes into about 1/4 inch thick slices.
- Place the basil leaf and tomato slice on top of the mozzarella.
- Drip some balsamic vinegar on top of the tomato and mozzarella, and top with salt and pepper.
