First, happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there! This week for Sunday Supper we are sharing recipes that dads everywhere can enjoy, whether it be relaxing with family or yelling at the TV during a World Cup game (especially if they’re a Spain fan…). This week I’m sharing a lemon pepper wings recipe that’s simple to make, full of flavor, and low on added fat.

Bake time: 1 hour


1 lbchicken wings
3 tbspolive oil
1 tspsalt
2 tspground black pepper
1 tsponion powder
1 tspgarlic powder
zest of 1lemon
juice of 1lemon


  1. Preheat the oven to 375F. Line a baking sheet with aluminium foil and a non stick rack.

  2. In a bowl, mix the salt, pepper, powders, and zest.

  3. Drizzle the olive oil and seasoning over the wings toss to evenly cover the wings.

  4. Place the wings on the pan, and bake for 1 hour.

  5. When the chicken comes out of the oven, sprinkle the lemon juice over top the wings and serve while hot.

    When my husband and I were first married we use to go out for special date nights to get wings and lemon pepper was always one of the choices. These look perfect to recreate a home memory of that.
